This was confirmed yesterday after the company announced international launch New7Wonders online voting will seek to choose the most attractive places on the planet in a process that began today and will end in 2013 defined.

It is to compete with the 1,200 selected cities (from 220 countries including Argentina) for this site signifies to “the land of sun and good wine,” a big challenge. And according to the timetable set for the election, time is limited, since this first phase will run until March 7.
From that instance will be classified 300 cities to be selected by voters in the top 77. By next year, you will know what are the 28 most “wonderful” in the world and from then on will make its way into the final, which will leave the podium to the seven most appreciated.
To reach some of these instances, the news for the province is more than encouraging, since the site officer in charge of the event, is nothing less than the same one that held the election of the new seven wonders of the world.
Argentina has a recent history in this sense, since last November, Niagara Falls (Misiones) were ranked among the greatest natural beauties on the planet.
Knowledgeable about the application, from the Government welcomed the opportunity and began designing a campaign to seek accession.
“We will undertake a campaign through social networks and in the media, inviting Mendoza and all those who want to vote”, said Minister of Tourism, Javier Espina and clarified that the dissemination of the campaign is still in a initial stage due to recent news.
The challenge to stand out, not less, as Mendoza not only compete with cities on five continents, but which they will be face to face with Cordoba, Santa Fe, Buenos Aires and San Juan to its neighbor.
“Of course it’s an honor to be among the 1,200 Mendoza preset cities. Another antecedent of the same nature dates back to 2008, the year the National Geographic Traveler published its annual rating of tourist destinations, among which 109 were selected. Of these, the province was at number ten.
