This Animal Day, the first since the destination Iguazu Falls has been selected among the new 7 natural wonders of the world, Iguazu Argentina ®, licensee of the Park of Iguazu National Park, reinforces awareness tasks to promote and support the message preservation of the native fauna of the Paranaense forest, in a joint effort with the National Parks Administration, the agency responsible in our country of this issue.
Many times the majestic splendor of Iguazu Falls hypnotizes us and distracts us from the magical world around them, which are amazing animal’s habitat to which we must learn to know, respect and care to ensure that future generations can enjoy wonderful natural environment with which we now have.
In this sense the Iguazú National Park plays a fundamental role since it will protect species that are endangered species like the jaguar (Panthera onca), ocelot (Felis pardalis), the yacutinga (Aburria jacuntinga) macuco (Tinamus solitarius) also 80 species of mammals found there the conditions for their survival.
The more than 450 species of birds, are displayed without timidity in the early morning and evening and can easily be seen toucans, crows, lapwings, swifts and the amazing parrot, a species unique to the Niagara area, who mix their flight with a lot of colorful butterflies, while alligators, turtles and herons take over the innumerable waterways of the region.
